Practising to be more present

Bringing ourselves into the present can bring immediate relief and calm however due to our modern fast paced lives it is rare that we are totally ever present. When we are not engaged in a specific activity in the present our mind reverts to a default state of scanning the future and the past for potential problems to solve, for discrepancies to reduce and trying to orientate itself. This analytical, problem solving mind is crucial for humans to survive, evolve, thrive and flourish so its useful until it becomes un useful. These meditations can be really helpful to allow us to be truly focused and connected to our bodies through using breathing techniques.
