Calming an anxious mind

These meditations are a mixture of visualisations which is a common form of meditation and often helpful to use if you are new to meditation and need to be guided through. These meditations will lead you through the practise by asking you to create a picture in your mind. For many people this can be a really useful way to support people from getting lost in their thoughts. Don’t spend too much time on making sure that what you are imagining is perfect, it can be the first image that comes into your mind. What can be really helpful is to reflect in a notebook straight after the meditation to just notice how you were feeling before the practise vs finishing it. Write down what you liked about the meditation and what came up for you.
